The 7th annual Toronto Buskerfest will be held at the historic St. Lawrence Market, in Olde Town Toronto. This festival will take you all around the world as performers from all over amaze you with their astonishing talents through August 24-27, 2006. In 4 days, there will be 40 world class acts to entertain you from noon ‘till night everyday! Admission is free, although donations are accepted.
There are also plenty of events and workshops planned for the kids in courtesy of Scotiabank. Kids can create their own t-shirt, make crafts, and enjoy magic workshops all for FREE!!! They can test their skills as country boys and girls when trying to milk “Maple the Cow”, and dicover their inner artistic talents at the “Discoverability Tent” where they can make crafts, paint, do arts, make music, and much more!
The whole family can look forward to 9:30 pm on Friday, the 25th, when the Gala Show is held, and see “fire in the sky”! Hold on to your “oohs”and “aahs” as you’ll definitely need to save them for the 7th annual Buskerfest! For more information, please visit www.torontobuskerfest.com.
